Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
There will be plenty of big Group feature races in the coming months and we have the Temora Cup heats this Sunday, but there are also plenty of other big races each week on the calendar around the State.
We commence at Wentworth Park on Wednesday March 8 with a 520m Wentworth Park Battlers worth $4,000m to the winner.
At Maitland the following night we have the Maitland Cup Heats (non grade) over 450m worth $4,000 to the heat winners and $40,000 final.
At Richmond on Friday March 10 we have the 783m Marathon worth $7,200 to the winner.
At Dubbo on Saturday March 11 we see the 516m 4/5th Grade Heats with a $5,000 final, while on the same night at Wentworth Park we have 520m 5th Grade Road to The Egg Heats with a $10,000 final.
Monday March 13 at Maitland we have 400m Maiden Heats with a $3,000 final and 400m 1-3 Win Heats with a $3,000 final.
The same night at Nowra we have 520m 5th Grade Heats with a $4,000 final.
And the big week concludes on Tuesday March 14 firstly at Dubbo with 318m Non Grade Heats with a $5,000 final and 318m Maiden Heats with $5,000 final, as well as 400m 4/5th Grade Heats with a $10,000 final.
The same night at Bulli we have 400m 1-3 Win Heats with a $2,000 final, and at Grafton 350m 5th Grade Heats with a $2,000 final.
