Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
Plenty of big Group feature races in the coming months but there are also plenty of other big races each week on the calendar around the State.
We commence at Richmond on Wednesday February 1 with 320m Maiden heats with a $1,500 final.
On the same night at Wentworth Park we have 520m Maiden heats with a $6,000 final and a Wentworth Park Battlers worth $4,000.
On Thursday February 2 at Dapto when have 297m 5th Grade heats with a $2,000 final and also that day at Casino 411m Non Grade heats with a $3,000 final.
It’s a big night at The Gardens on Friday February 3 with the heats of the prestigious Robert Smith Memorial Maiden over the 515m with a $20,000 final.
At Dubbo on Saturday February 4 we have 400m Maiden heats with a $2,000 final, and at Gosford their huge night with the final of the Six Hundy as well as the 842m Non Grade Marathon worth $7,200 to the winner, a 515m Non Grade Best 8 for dogs worth $7,000 to the winner and 515m Non Grade Best 8 for bitches worth $7,000 to the winner.
On Sunday February 5 at Grafton we have 450m 1-3 Win heats with a $5,000 final.
At Maitland on Monday February 6 we have 450m 1-3 Win heats with a $4,400 final and that night at
