The lightly raced NANGAR RUST (4) was good winning his maiden last start at Bathurst in 30.11, he's up in class for this but gives the impression the big track and 535m will suit so he's top pick. It does look to be a fairly open affair though despite the small field, with WE THE PEOPLE (1), LOUI WONTON (8) and CRACKLIN ROSE (2) all having claims.
