Race eight is one of tonight's harder races with no clear standout and several winning hopes. GEEK FREAK (5) had been racing a bit below her best before an improving second here last week, she's generally a good beginner who could take catching if she runs up to her last effort. WAVE JOCKEY (1) isn't a noted good beginner but is boxed to run well.
