GRNSW Off And Streaming For An Action Packed 2023

By GRNSW
In what looms as one of the biggest years the sport in NSW has ever experienced, Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) will go one step further in attracting more people to greyhound racing through an expansion of their live streaming of major events.

Already, with 2023 less than seven days’ old, the sport has hit the New Year running, having already witnessed Group racing with the Beast Unleashed Gosford Gold Cup going to Punter's Bandit on Tuesday night.

Punter's Bandit took out the Beast Unleashed Gosford Cup on Tuesday night.

Now GRNSW plans to step it up again with their coverage of the upcoming Group 1 races at Wentworth Park.

Saturday, January 21 is one of the biggest nights of racing on the NSW calendar, and the only night where three NSW Group 1 finals are decided. Add to that mix a Group 2 feature and a Listed event, and you can see why the purists call it the best night of the year.

And, as expected the entire evening will be treated to all the bells and whistles of a Showcase coverage on thedogs.com.au.

But in 2023 with its ongoing commitment to grow the sport, and have as many new eyeballs on local racing, GRNSW will also be hosting full Showcase coverage of the Wentworth Park meeting on January 13 when the heats of the Group 1 Ladbrokes National Derby and the Group 1 Ladbrokes National Futurity will be run.

Then, the following night, Saturday, January 14, the heats of the Group 1 Ladbrokes Paws Of Thunder and the Group 2 Summer Distance Plate will be contested and again, the night will be given ‘the full treatment’ with an on-course Showcase coverage streamed through the website.

The coverage on each of the three nights will include analysis of each event, the latest news, market movers, and selections from our experts, as well as pre-race and post-race interviews.

And you can see it all from your lounge chair, or in the palm of your hand through your mobile device.

You would be correct in saying that 2022 was a massive year for greyhound racing in NSW, but as you can see by just the first few weeks of this year, GRNSW plans to make 2023 even bigger.
