Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
The TAB Million Dollar Chase has been run and won for another year, but while the biggest on the calendar has now gone, there is still plenty of feature racing big and small around the State.
We begin at Casino on Thursday October 6 with 484m non grade heats with a $4,200 final.
On the same night at Dapto we have 520m maiden heats with a $3,000 final and 520m 5th grade heats with a $5,000 final.
At Wagga on Friday October 7 we have 400m 5th grade heats with a $2,400 final.
On Black Top Final night at The Gardens, on Friday October 7 we have a 515m Best 8 (any grade) worth $5,000 to the winner and a 715m Best 8 (any grade) also with $5,000 to the winner.
At Taree on Saturday October 8 we have 392m 0-1 win heats with a $1,500 final, then later that night at
Wentworth Park we have 520m 5th grade 1-4 win heats with an $8,000 final.
On Sunday October 9 at Grafton we have 350m 5th grade 1-3 win heats with a $2,000 final.
At Nowra on Monday October 10 we will run 365m maiden heats with a $2,000 final.
And finally at Temora on Tuesday October 11 we have 330m 5th grade 1-3 win heats with a $2,300 final and on the same night at Grafton we have 450m 5th grade heats with a $2,500 final.
