Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
The biggest night in NSW Greyhound Racing will be this Saturday, September 24 when the grand final of the TAB Million Dollar Chase is run and won, but while the biggest on the calendar will be gone for another year, there is still plenty of feature racing big and small around the State.
We begin at The Gardens on Wednesday September 28 with 515m maiden heats with a $3,000 final.
At Richmond on the same night there is 401m maiden heats with $1,500 final.
On Friday September 30 at The Gardens we have heats of the non grade Black Top over the 515m with a $40,000 final.
At Grafton on Saturday October 1 there are 450m 0-1 win heats with a $2,500 final and the same night at The Gardens there will be 515m 5th grade heats with a $5,000 final.
At Bathurst on Monday October 3 the club has 520m 5th grade heats with a $5,000 final.
And finally at Wentworth Park on Wednesday October 5 we have 520m maiden heats with a $6,000 final.
Trainers should check the calendar on thedogs.com.au site for specific conditions that may be applicable to some events.
