Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
We announced recently the dates for the TAB Million Dollar Chase and while it seems like only yesterday that She’s A Pearl was winning the grand final at Wentworth Park, the series is about to begin with heats at Bulli and Gosford imminent.
The heats of the NSW National Sprint Championship are also on the radar this week.
And we’ll start this week with Richmond on Wednesday August 3 with maiden heats over the 401m trip with $1,500 final.
At Casino on Thursday August 4 over the 484m journey we have 5th grade heats with a $3,000 final.
On Friday August 5 at Wagga we see maiden heats over the 320m with a $1,600 final.
Then on Saturday August 6 at Wentworth Park the NSW National Sprint Championships Heats over the 520m will be run with a $10,000 final.
At Grafton on Sunday August 7 over the 350m we have 1-2 win heats with a $2,000 final.
Then on Tuesday August 9 at both Bulli and Gosford we have heats of the TAB Million Dollar Chase Regional series over the 472m at Bulli and the 515m at Gosford, each with $7,000 finals.
Trainers should check the calendar on thedogs.com.au site for specific conditions that may be applicable to some events.
