Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
While the first TAB Million Dollar Chase for 2022 has come and gone and congratulations to the connections of brilliant bitch She’s A Pearl, the feature racing does not stop there. There is a number of feature events around the State across the next week to 10 days too.
Let’s take a look at all the features big and small, scheduled for this week.
Richmond on Wednesday May 18 will hold 320m 5th grade heats with a $7,000 final.
On Thursday May 19, Casino has non grade heats of the Beef Week Cup over the 484m with a $10,000 final.
On Friday May 20, Richmond hosts 5th grade, 1-3 win heats over the 520m with a $2,500 final. On the same night at The Gardens there will be a Best 8 (any grade) stake over the 715m with $7,000 to the winner.
On Monday May 23 at Nowra there are 5th grade heats over 365m with a $3,000 final, and also on Monday at Grafton there will be 5th grade 1-4 win heats over 450m with a $3,800 final.
And finally on Tuesday May 24 at Gosford there are non grade 1-5 win heats of the Goldmine over 515m with a $15,000 final and 515m maiden heats with a $10,000 final, and on the same day at Bulli, maiden heats over the 472m with a $3,000 final.
Trainers should check the calendar on thedogs.com.au site for specific conditions that may be applicable to some events.
