Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.

The huge month of racing in the regions continues with the Mega Month of Regional Racing and more than $1 million in prizemoney on offer just in feature events around the State.

Let’s take a look at all the features big and small, scheduled for a massive week as a new month begins.

At Taree on Wednesday June 1, there are the non-grade The Squizzy Heats over 392m with a $15,000 final. Also on Wednesday at Richmond we have the Thunderbolt heats over the 320m.

On Thursday June 2 at Casino over the 411m they have 5th grade heats with a $3,600 final, while at
Gunnedah on the same day we have 340m maiden heats with a $7,000 final.

At Goulburn on Friday  June 3 there are 350m Thunderbolt heats, while at The Gardens on the same day there are 5th grade 1-3 win heats over the 515m with a $5,000 Final and 515m maiden heats with a $5,000 final.

Also Friday June 3 Richmond has 5th grade heats over the 520m with a $2,500 final and Wagga 525m non-grade worth $2,500 to the winner.

On Saturday June 4 at Grafton there are Thunderbolt heats over the 350m.

The big event of the week will be the heats of The Ladbrokes 715 at The Gardens on Saturday June 4, with the winner of the final collecting $500,000.

At Gunnedah on Sunday June 5, we have heats of the Chief Havoc over 527m with a $40,000 to the winner final. Also on the card are 340m 5th grade 1-4 win heats with a $7,000 final.

At Bathurst on Monday June 6 we have Thunderbolt heats over the 307m and 450m 5th grade heats with a $4,000 final while at Maitland on the same day there will be 400m 5th grade heats with a $2,000 final.

On the same day at Nowra there are 365m maiden heats with a $5,000 final and 520m 5th grade heats of the Loyalty Plate with a $10,000 final.

And finally on Tuesday June 7 at Bulli there are heats of the Jimmy Jenkins Memorial for 5th grade over the 472m trip with a $15,000 final, at Gosford there will be Thunderbolt heats over the 388m, and at
Grafton 350m 1-2 win heats with a $2,000 final.

Trainers should check the calendar on thedogs.com.au site for specific conditions that may be applicable to some events.
