GRNSW Update

By GRNSW
Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) has announced its intention to continue a research and development program – including a review of potential new technology options and improvements - at Richmond’s straight track.

The review, as a part of GRNSW’s continuous safety and welfare works at tracks, will focus in particular on lure placement, lure positioning and lure type.

GRNSW General Manager Tracks and Infrastructure David Aldred said:

“The research and development program is a part of GRNSW continuing to look at new technologies and equipment and evaluating if any further improvements should be considered. After 12 months of successful racing on the straight track at Richmond, we are now well placed to look at these options relating to the lure. We look forward to working with participants, evaluating any suggestions and updating the industry in due course.”
