Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
The Ladbrokes Golden Easter Egg Carnival will be behind us next week but there is still plenty of great feature race action over the coming week.
Trainers please be aware of changes to nomination closing times due to the upcoming Easter weekend public holidays.
Let’s take a look at all the features big and small, scheduled for this week.
At Taree on Wednesday April 13 we have maiden heats over the 314m with a $7,500 to the winner final.
On Thursday, April 14 at Goulburn there are 1-3 win 5th grade heats over the 350m with a $2,000 final, and on the same day at Casino we have a non-grade (1/2/3/4th grade) stake over the 484m worth $4,200 to the winner.
On Saturday, April 16, Taree will have 0-2 win heats over the 537m with a $3,000 final.
Also across the Easter Weekend on April 16 and April 18, Moree host their Non-TAB Carnival.
On Sunday, April 17 Nowra has heats of their Nowra Puppy Classic over the 520m which culiminates with a massive $40,000 to the winner final.
Wagga Wagga have 1-3 win heats over the 400m on Sunday, April 17 with a $3,000 final.
On the Monday public holiday, April 18, Grafton has 1-3 win heats over the 450m with a $3,800 final.
Finally on Wednesday, April 20, the Richmond Straight has maiden heats with a $1,500 final.
Trainers should check the calendar on thedogs.com.au site for specific conditions that may be applicable to some events.
