Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.

This will be one of the bigger weeks of racing in NSW with feature races across the State, the continuation of the Golden Easter Egg carnival, and the commencement of the TAB Million Dollar Chase.

We’ll begin with Wentworth Park on Wednesday, March 30, and the heats of the Group 3 New Sensation over the 520m, which culminates with a $40,000 to the winner final.

Also on Wednesday, March 30, Taree will stage 4/5th grade heats over the 392m with a $6,000 final, and the Richmond Straight track will hold maiden heats with a $1,500 final.

The TAB Million Dollar Chase begins on Thursday, March 31, with heats scheduled for Dapto over the 520m, Gunnedah over the 527m and Casino over the 484m.

Gunnedah will also stage 1-3 win 5th grade heats over the 340m with a $2,000 final.

Next Friday, April 1, Wentworth Park has heats of the Masters’ event over the 520m with a $10,000 final as well as the heats of the Ultra Sense over the 520m with a $15,000 final.

Goulburn will host TAB Million Dollar Chase heats on Friday, April 1 over the 440m, while on the same day the Richmond Straight track has 5th heats with a $2,000 final.

On Saturday, April 2, Temora will kick of the day with TAB Million Dollar Chase heats over the 457m trip, before Wentworth Park has the much-anticipated heats of the Association Cup over the 720m which has a $75,000 final on April 9.

On Sunday, April 3, Broken Hill host their Broken Hill Cup heats over the 525m which will culminate with a $10,000 final the following week with the winner of the final also gaining a berth in the TAB Million Dollar Chase semi-finals. The club will also stage a maiden event with heats over the 375m and a final worth $5,500 Final, and also the Local Cup heats over the 375m with a $3,000 final.

On Sunday, April 3, Grafton has heats of 1-3 win event over the 350m with a $2,000 final.

More TAB Million Dollar Chase heats will be held on Monday, April 4 over the 520m at Nowra, with the  club also staging maiden heats over the 365m for a $2,000 final.

And on Tuesday, April 5, Bulli hold their heats of the Chase over 472m.
