PAW FLASH (4) was posted wide throughout yet still managed to place here last week and with better luck today will prove hard to beat. FLAWS AND SINS (6) has the speed to cross over and can set the early tempo. INTREPID BALE (1) has strong claims.
FIRST CRACK (1) winning time off 34.75 here last week off this exact draw would be good enough to take out this event. RATTLE AND BANG (8) had no luck here last week off box 1 and is better suited to the wide draw here.
BLUE FLAME (4) can settle top 2 early here and should be primed in her third straight run over this track and distance. GRACE BURGESS (3) had no luck when trying to lead here last week and with better luck today can feature prominently.
LIBERTY KELTON (4) found bother at a crucial stage here last week and has the speed to lead throughout. PAW KRAMER (1) was far from disgraced on debut and will be better for the run. PAW VELDRON (2) should appreciate the step up in distance.
WANDANA LAD (1) should set up a big lead in the initial stages which could be a bigger enough lead to hold off the fast finishing JEREMY SPOKE (3). CATCH A RAINBOW (6) can settle on the speed and is up to this class.
PIERRE BALE (4) should get a pretty cheap lead and he is proven over this distance range. RYEBUCK TEARS (1) returns after a stint in QLD and she should be ready to fire fresh. LOTTIE INTENTION (3) is a more than capable type
CANYA HUSTLE (1) returns back to an inside draw here and looks the big improver. UNDERWAY (8) has a superior mid race engine and just needs some luck going into the first bend. GREMLIN (2) can show a serious turn of speed once fully balanced.
VINCENT BALE (4) was a flying 25.03 last start Ballarat winner and if he can convert that form into this race he would be winning. BLACK SILENCER (3) will need luck initially but is armed with a mighty finish.
HOT ASHES (2) was an emphatic 29.83 winner here on debut and is very much suited to an inside draw. LAPIS LAZULI (1) displayed early burn in her speedy 29.98 win here on debut. PAW XANDER (5) can threaten with even luck.
BATTLE OF WILL (2) is much better than his form reads and looks the big improver here off a better draw. CASHING OUT (8) would have preferred an inside draw but is as talented as any of his rivals in this race. WHERE IS HE (7) can run a place.
BUCHAN (1) had no luck here last week in a stronger race and with a timely beginning can lead throughout. ROCKET BALE (4) once fully balanced has a big motor and just need some luck going into the first bend. HIS SPECIAL (6) is rarely far away.
ASTON ALLURE (1) should lead for fun here and can turn for home with a race winning lead. STEELE JAKIT (3) has been racing well in tougher races of late and a top 3 finish looks very likely. FARNHAM BALE (7) is more than capable.
