SCORCHED (1) fail last start at Gosford, however he found plenty of trouble and his form before that was first class, from the rails he can improve and take beating. There are a number of other smart types engaged though including TYPHOON TO EXCEL (3), TIMELESS MOMENT (4) and the well drawn KRAKEN SPIKE (8) so taking short odds could be a risk.
