MICKY MCCAW (3) has shown good improvement at his first two starts the latest a handy second here in smart time if he runs up to those efforts he's the one to beat in the opening event. FARMER BEAR (2) has to improve a bit on his recent trial but this isn't overly strong so he's the second pick ahead of WINLOCK WILLOW (5) and DESPICABLE EARL (8).
