SWIFT RAIN (2) isn't always a reliable beginner but he's smart and is unbeaten since returning from a spell, he looks suited on the big Richmond track and is sure to take beating in race 8. PADDY'S PEARL (4) can also be tardy early but if she runs up to her last victory she'll be hard to beat. SET IN BLACK (1) and VELOCITY KORINA (6) are next best.
