The opening heat of the staying race looks to be a very even affair with luck in running likely to play a big part. FIRE AND SMOKE (6) gets back so is one of those who will need luck but he's well drawn and both staying runs so far have been good. he's the on- top selection. ELI STARLIGHT (3), KEYSTA (4) and RIPPIN TAY TAY (7) also have claims.
