On their heat runs there isn't a great deal between a number of runners in race eight but because of her early pace and the suitable wide draw GOOD ODDS AVA (7) is selected on top from VICTOR CHARLIE (1) who will be hard to beat if he begins. There are other chances though including CENTAVOS (2) and RETURNED HERO (6) who is also well boxed wide.
