The opening event is likely to prove a match between the first starters DUANE EDDY (2) and LOVELY RITA (7) after both have trialed in good style here recently. Duane Eddy is the on top selection but Lovely Rita has genuine claims with a few slow beginners drawn underneath her. ZIPPING KEITH (4) and GROVEBROOK FLYER (3) can fight out the minors.
