WHEELCHAIR NORM (4) led most of the way in his heat holding off ASSOCIATE (5) for a narrow victory in the fastest heat time. Despite drawing awkwardly today they still look the main hopes with Wheelchair Norm the on top pick. HEAD FOR GLORY (1) and MISS ARICA (2) both went well enough in their heats to have claims from their good draws.
