The opening event is a a pretty even affair, with a number of runners having winning chances. PACIFIC BELLE (8) is making her debut after trialling here in sound fashion in mid April, caqpable of winning if she steps on terms. DESPICABLE TOM (6) and RUN TO CHINA (4) have both had the advantage of having raced, either can win without surprising.
