Another open Maiden event and the two debutants are set to battle this out. LAILAI MARAMA (1) has come up with the perfect draw for her debut and will have been well schooled here. DAM EXCITING (8) is a well-bred youngster who is bred for speed and looks the danger. MIDNIGHT ROSE (7) handy 3rd here last week and can improve.
CAPEWA (7) showed her pace when leading to the shadows of the post when 2nd in smart time here last week. Has the pace to handle the wide draw and is the one to catch. ELIZABETH FIRE (2) is on debut for Craig Last and will be well prepared for this. CONE HEAD (3) handy 3rd at The Gardens last start and has minor claims.
Open restricted win race and AUSSIE TILLY (1) is drawn to take this out. She finished a good 2nd here in fast time two runs back and only needs even luck to win. MONTICELLO (2) handy 3rd at The Gardens last week after finding trouble early and is the danger. STOCK'S GIFT (7) won well here last week in 25.44 and has each way claims.
Open affair to start the Quaddie and like BOOM BOOM TOMMY (2) from the inside draw. He is racing in good form finishing in the money in his past five starts and gets his chance for another win. CASSIDY BOY (3) races well over this trip and owns a smart 25.45 PB. Looks the danger. DESPICABLE TOOTS (7) will race on the speed and has place claims.
Multiple winning hopes but we're banking on the inside box doing the trick for BEST EVER (3) Quick Bulli winner last week when leading all the way and will be hard to beat with any luck early. FURIOUS (7) only needs to nail the jump to be a leading contender. BLUE JUGGLER (5) is a 6-time winner this trip and only needs even luck to be in the mix.
Another open affair and have stuck with DESPICABLE GOAT (5) won over this trip in a quick 22.39 three runs back and only needs a clean start to take this out. MUSTANG SHERRY (7) is a two-time winner this trip with a 22.56 PB. Will race on the speed and looks the danger. PRECIOUS BOY (2) was a good effort when 4th in 22.35 last week and has claims.
Two dog race for us with PATTAYA FLASH (4) getting the nod. Racing in terrific form winning his past three in smart times and maps to lead this field. RHYNO'S MAGIC (8) is the only danger. Recent form has been solid and has a good record this trip. KIARNI BOLT (7) owns a 22.59 PB this trip and has minor claims from the wide alley.
DESPICABLE DASH (7) comes into this off some good form on the Straight at Richmond and a 2nd at Bulli last week. He is well drawn off the track and will prove too good for his rivals. QUICK TO JUDGE (8) resumes from a spell and will race well fresh. HARD HEAD RED (6) owns a smart 22.54 PB this trip and has each way claims from the tricky draw.
TALK ABOUT REX (6) showed his pace when a quick Gunnedah winner Thursday. He maps to lead this field from the wide draw and will prove hard to reel in. BLUE CHANELLE (1) won her Maiden in good style at The Gardens last time out and looks the danger. HURRICANE HUXLEY (2) is a 22.52 winner this trip and cannot be underestimated.
Tough race to finish the night and any of these could get up. Gone with DESPICABLE JOSIE (6) showed pace when 2nd on the Straight at Richmond in early June and can lead.
