RUPEE REBEL (7) won three starts ago over this track and trip in a slick 25.99. He has since had no luck in two subsequent starts. Capable of returning to the winners circle here. SURVEILLANCE (2) has really come of age in quick fashion winning his past two races over this track and trip. He ran two lengths quicker on Thursday than his win the week prior which shows he’s trending in the right direction. DARLING DANGER (6) has placed in her past two runs over this track and trip. She has hit the line well in both these runs and a win isn’t too far away.

HARD STYLE LEON (4) is yet to miss the quinella in five starts at Hobart three of those over this track and trip. He is blessed with brilliant box speed and appears the likely leader of this race. ROJO JOJO (8) dropped back to the 340m last start and won in impressive fashion by five lengths. Her time of 19.55 was the fastest of the night. Drawn well in box eight and will press forward early. Last 50m the query. ROJO MOLLY (6) ran a cracking race two starts ago when being overhauled late by Wynburn Solstice in 26.35. She has since failed in the feature final when missing the start. If she begins better here, she will give this race a good shake.

SPIDER PIG (2) returns from a two month break. Prior to his spell, he finished second behind Stardust Lad who has franked the form winning and placing in multiple races since. He is lightly raced and has more upside than his rivals. HEAD NOISE (1) broke her maiden three starts ago at start no.20 defeating Arcadian Rose over the 515m at Launceston. She has placed in six of her 10 starts over this track and trip. Place chance. RAGING RAMBO (3) placed three starts ago over this track and trip behind Thor Danger. He is a risky beginner but will finish off better than most in this contest.

Tips
Cracking contest with a number of chances. ROJO DIAMOND (3) is the king of the 461m at Hobart. He has dominated this circuit for so long and continues to race at a high level. Drawn inside his main dangers and can burn the candle at both ends. DEALER (4) hasn’t put a foot wrong in recent months winning six races on the bounce. He has run some cracking times over this track and trip; however, I feel he goes better at Launceston. SUPREME LEADER (8) has recently raced solely over the middle distance where he has tasted great success winning three of his four starts. He will appreciate returning to the sprint distance as he’s probably not a true middle distance runner albeit he has done a terrific job.

The first reserve CHILLED WHISKY (9) gains entry into this race and will exit box eight. She showed brilliant box speed to initially lead April Cruiser in this fixture last month before being headed and finishing second. A similar beginning would see her lead this race and prove tough to catch. DANCER OF FLAME (2) returned from a four month break in the aforementioned race and finished third. He has four lengths to make up on CHILLED WHISKY (9) but could take significant improvement from the run. Once upon a time he was an absolute freak. TRICKED IT (1) is the only other runner who brings some form to this race having run second in two of his past three starts. All the same, prefer him drawn wider as he doesn’t have a great record off the inside.

STAUNCH (2) won his lone start over this track and trip in 26.37. He is drawn close to the fence and should get every possible chance to record his second career win. STYLISH FLYER (5) typically finishes on the outskirts of the podium; however, this has been behind better opposition such as Supreme Leader and Seattle. There’s no runner in this race with their ability and he could relish the drop back in competition. REV PENNY (8) put in her best run last Thursday since arriving in Tasmania running second to Academy in 26.19. A similar run would see her winning this race; however, she has to overcome the wide draw which is never an easy task.

MIDNIGHT GRAND (4) has been on an absolute tear in recent months winning four of his seven starts with a further two placings. He has showcased his versatility in recent weeks winning over the 278m and 515m at Launceston. He returns to his pet track and trip. Hard to hold out. RED STILETTO (1) returns from a one month break. She will appreciate stepping up to the 461m after tasting consecutive defeats over the 340m as favourite. Has won two of her four over this distance with a sizzling 25.81 personal best on her books. FEARSOME FLIRT (3) has placed in his past four starts including three consecutive second place finishes over this track and trip. Capable of landing in the minor money once again.

SEATTLE (7) extended his winning streak to four last start finishing off strongly to pip Hard Style Leon in the Hobart Breeders Classic. He has proven he can win from all draws as well as come from off the speed. Impossible to pot. LEGENDARY DANGER (4) has found a real home over the middle distance over the past month finishing in the quinella in all five of his starts. He is equipped with a strong finish and will be running home best. STARDUST LAD (2) has been consistent over the 515m at Launceston finishing in the top three in all three of his starts. Despite this, he is much more comfortable over this track and trip. Drawn to be the early leader and can hold on for a podium finish.

MASTER RHODE (2) has found a winnable assignment on his Tasmanian debut. The former Victorian is yet to taste winning success in 12 starts; however, has placed on eight occasions. He won’t get many better chances to break through. FURRY POTTER (3) has teased throughout her 20 start career placing on 11 occasions. She has been disappointing in her past two races; however, is capable of bouncing back. WHODAT BOBLYN (4) makes his debut for the Graeme Moate kennel. He is the only runner in this race with no convictions and wouldn’t have to be a superstar to score easily. Monitor betting moves.

GOLDEN CHOPSTICK (2) has been scintillating over this track and trip in both her starts scoring in slick time including a BON win on Thursday in 19.32. A repeat of this effort would see her take out this race with ease. WHISKY BARREL (1) would’ve entered many black books across Australia after his last effort over the 278m at Launceston where he came out stone motherless last and was able to still get the job done. Will appreciate the added trip as well as returning to Hobart. Danger. REMEMBER DES (9) gains entry into this race and will exit box four. He has placed in eight of his 10 starts over this track and trip. Will be running home once again. Looking for 461m.
