Since stepping up in distance DEEP BLUE (7) had run three handy 4ths before he showed good pace to lead most of the way at Bathurst last run in 30.26. Now he's broken through he can go on with it. IRINKA SNEAKY (2) is much better boxed here. She should improve and is the danger to the seven, with SIMON KEEPING (3) and WINSOME ELAINE (5) next.
