The speedy VARUNA (6) comes into the opening event as the winner of his last two starts at Goulburn over 350m in fast times and he's also a winner here over 318m, the slightly longer trip isn't a problem and he's again the one to beat. RODNEY KEEPING (1) is always a hope on his home track and is the danger from NO BEAR (3) and CAN'T BE DONE (8).
