Only the seven starts in the opening event but it's still hard to find the winner with a number of promising types who are meeting for the first time engaged. IRINKA JAYLA (7) showed enough in her Bathurst trial in March to suggest she'll run well but any of JIMARY LOLLIPOP (6), SPRING SOLOMON (4) or WESTERN WRENCH (8) can win without surprising.
