MANDAGERY JIM (6) returns to Bathurst after good recent placings at Bulli and Goulburn. He runs his best races over 307m here and has no trouble with wide draws so he's the on-top selection. KATIE TARO (1) isn't the most reliable beginner but she's talented and the logical danger while JACOBITE DOUGIE (4) and BUNYIP (7) can fight out the minors.
