Despite the fact he's yet to win at Bathurst over the 520m trip WALT KOWALSKI (3) is the on top selection after some recent handy form in harder races than this. RUMPOLD (5) has also been going well in similar events and is an each way hope ahead of the lightly raced STEEL ERASER (2) and DANA JOY (8) who can always be included for the exotics.
