Open race. SPRING OWL (1) should enjoy a nice run from the inside and looks a nice eachway type. BLOOD AND SAND (5) is slow early, runs on well and should be producing his best at the business end. RED HOT SUMMER (3) is a well travelled bitch who should find this easier than recent Victorian starts. GERTIE ALLEN (4) is dropping in trip. Chance.
