Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
There will be plenty of big Group feature races in the coming months staring this Sunday with the Bulli Gold Cup, but there are also plenty of other big races each week on the calendar around the State.
We commence at Taree on Wednesday February 22 with 314m Maiden Heats with a $3,000 Final.
On the same night at Richmond we have 320m 5th Grade Heats with a $5,500 Final.
At Wentworth Park also on Wednesday February 22 we have a 520m 5th Grade Wentworth Park Battlers with $4,000 to the winner.
At Richmond on Friday February 24, we have 520m Non Grade Richmond Derby Heats with a $40,000 Final and also 520m Non Grade Richmond Oaks Heats also with a $40,000 Final.
At Wentworth Park on Saturday February 25 we have 520m 5th Grade Ladbrokes Road to The Egg Heats with a $10,000 Final.
On Monday February 27 at Nowra we have 365m 5th Grade Heats with a $2,500 Final and a 630m Non Grade Country Classic Heat worth $7,200 to the winner and leading to the $125,000 Final on March 18 in Dubbo.
At Bulli on Tuesday February 28 we have 340m 1-3 Win Heats with a $2,000 Final.
At Gosford the same night we have a 603m Non Grade Country Classic Heat worth $7,200 to the winner and leading to the $125,000 Final on March 18 in Dubbo.
And finally at Grafton on Tuesday February 28 we will stage a 660m Non Grade Country Classic Heat worth $7,200 to the winner and leading to the $125,000 Final on March 18 in Dubbo. This will also be an extra prizemoney meeting for graded races over 450m & 660m.
