By GRNSW
Greyhound racing fans are in for an extravaganza tonight, treated to an exclusive, live and enhanced showcase coverage of racing from three NSW venues.

Following discussions on Thursday between Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) and the Entain group, an agreement was reached where a three-hour production will be broadcast live on the premium channels of the Ladbrokes and Neds platforms.

The coverage, which will run from 6pm until 9pm, will feature racing from the NSW meetings at LADBROKES GARDENS, Wagga, and Richmond.

The broadcast will be presented by GRNSW’s greyhound expert Mark Duclos, and feature exclusive, live, trackside interviews from Richmond as the Western Sydney club host a card which will be highlighted by the running of the Cannonball Final.

Viewers will also be given full form analysis and selections for all the races from each venues which fall inside the three-hour window.

Races 6-12 will be shown at the twilight meeting from LADBROKES GARDENS, races 1-9 will be televised from Wagga, while races 1-9 will also be shown from Richmond, the standout being the Cannonball Final, race 8 at 8.38pm.

“Entain launched our channels with a spirit of innovation and a goal of offering our customers a modern, fresh and different approach to live racing,” an Entain spokesperson said.

“Just a fortnight later we are excited to partner with GRNSW to launch our first showcase event on the three NSW greyhound meetings on Friday night.

“Extended vision pre-race, live interviews with key contenders and an expert host to guide us through, are all firsts for our channels and offers an exciting glimpse into our future."

A GRNSW Spokesman said: “GRNSW will always work with industry partners who are keen to support greyhound racing and the great NSW participants.

“GRNSW is delighted to be able to join with one of those partners to give greyhound racing fans around the country some premium showcase coverage of our three Friday night meetings, and give the feature race meeting at Richmond the coverage it deserves.”
