Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
This week the major focus is on the commencement of the rich Ladbrokes Golden Easter Egg carnival at Wentworth Park.
The heats of the Group 3 Magic Maiden over the 520m will be held at Wentworth Park on Wednesday March 23, with the final carrying $25,000 to the winner prizemoney.
The big one next week will be the heats of the Group 1 Ladbrokes Golden Easter Egg which will be held over the 520m at Wentworth Park on Saturday, March 26 with the winner of the grand final on April 9 taking home $250,000.
Away from Wentworth Park, and on Monday, March 28, Maitland will hold 1-2 win heats over 400m with a $2,000 to the winner final.
And on Tuesday, March 29, Grafton will stage 5th grade heats over 350m which will lead to a $10,000 to the winner final.
