Trainers MUST nominate directly into heats to be considered. Minimum 12 nominations required for heats. Where less than 12 nominations are received, a Non-Grade Final for Best 8 Greyhounds + reserves will be run with the first three place getters qualifying for the Semi Finals. Greyhounds that have previously qualified for the MDC semi-finals are ineligible to compete. If a greyhound becomes ineligible to compete in the MDC semi-finals, It’s place will be taken from the MDC City Qualifiers. Maidens ineligible.
