The following Order of Entry shall apply 1. Winners of the following Group Events (table on website) will be granted priority entry into the Golden Easter Egg if nominated and eligible to race 2. Greyhounds that are deemed by the GRNSW TAB Grading Policy to be Grade 1 to 3 inclusive at Wentworth Park (520m Saturday night) at the time of nomination closing will be granted Priority Entry, if nominated and eligible to race. 3. Official winners of a Golden Easter Egg Prelude (including dead-heats) will be granted Priority Entry, if nominated and eligible to race. 4. Subject to Clause 5, the balance of the best 80 nominations will be determined by top down grading principle and the point score system as defined by the GRNSW TAB Grading Policy. 5. Discretionary Powers 5a. A Selection Panel comprising two representatives of the NSW GBOTA and two representatives of GRNSW will review the form of the bottom 15 greyhounds qualifying for the best 80 under condition (4), that is those ranked 66 to 80. 5b. If in the opinion of the Selection Panel, a greyhound outside the best 80 (as determined by conditions (1) to (4)) has superior race form under the elevation criteria to any of the greyhounds reviewed under condition 5a, then the said greyhound may be elevated into the best 80. 5c. In order to be elevated, the Selection Panel must be satisfied that the elevated greyhound has superior race form credentials under the following criteria: • Number of wins at Category A tracks as defined by the GRNSW TAB Grading Policy. • Grade of greyhound at Category A tracks as defined by the GRNSW TAB Grading Policy. • Overall Group Race form from July 1, 2013 5d. The Selection Panel will not be bound to elevate any greyhounds. It must not elevate any more than 15 greyhounds at its discretion. 6. Reserves will be determined by the Selection Panel, having regard for: • Point Score under the GRNSW TAB Grading Policy • Number of wins at Category A tracks as defined by the GRNSW TAB Grading Policy. • Grade of greyhound at Category A tracks as defined by the GRNSW TAB Grading Policy. • Overall Group Race form from July 1, 2013 7. The decisions of the Selection Panel, including discretionary decisions, as to the composition of the heats will be considered final. B. Greyhounds nominated for the Golden Easter Egg, which subsequently finish 3rd or 4th in the Semi-Finals will be automatically drawn in the The Ambrosoli, being the Golden Easter Egg consolation event. The two fastest 5th greyhounds in the Semi-Finals will be drawn as reserves for this event.
