RUM PUNCH (3) isn't the best of beginners but he has the ability to go close in race eight while fresh. His main threat is likely to come from FEAR ZA OYSTER (6) who has good early dash and is well drawn wide. LORD RAIN (2) can be tardy at the start but has a good local record, he's the third pick ahead of PERCY CLUMP (8).
