Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
We're counting down the days to the 2023 Ladbrokes Million Dollar Chase - but there's still plenty of racing on!
At Casino on Thursday 5th October, we'll see Non-Grade 484m Heats (1/2/3/4) with a $3,660 Final a week later.
Wentworth Park will take centre stage on Friday 6th October, there'll be 720m Sydney Cup Heats leading to a $100,000 Final on October 13, along with the
2023 Ladbrokes Million Dollar Chase Semi-Finals... where greyhounds will be just two wins away from $1 Million!
Still at Wentworth Park, this time on Saturday 7th October, there will be the all-important Young Star Heats (Whelped on/after 1/4/2021 ) which culminates in a $250,000 Final on MDC Grand Final Night.
Also on Saturday, at The Gardens, there are 515m Gardens/Richmond to Wenty Heats with a $10,000 Final at headquarters on October 13.
The next day, Sunday 8th October will feature the Richmond version of the 520m Gardens/Richmond to Wenty Heats leading to that $10,000 Final on MDC Grand Final night.
At Grafton on Sunday 8th October, there will be 450m 1-2 Win Heats leading to a $3,000 Final.
Over to Nowra on Monday 9th October, we'll see 520m 5th Grade Heats ($4,000 Final) and finally at Bulli on Tuesday 10th October there are 340m 1-3 Win Heats with a $3,000 Final the following Monday.
