Vale - Christine Mackenzie

By Jeff Collerson
Christine Mackenzie, the former general manager of the Richmond greyhound track, has passed away.

Christine was the ever-smiling face who greeted owners, trainers and punters in the race night office and was the wife of Don Mackenzie.

Christine also represented the NSW TAB clubs on the advisory panel to the Greyhound Racing Control Board.

Her husband Don worked in the office of the National Coursing Association, which conducted racing at Wentworth Park and Penrith, and was later secretary of the Richmond club before becoming an extremely capable and popular stipendiary steward.

GRNSW wishes to extend its condolences to the family and friends of the late Christine Mackenzie.
