Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
While the racing highlight will be on Saturday night with the running of the Group 1 Peter Mosman Opal and Vic Peters Classic at Wentworth Park, there are plenty of still feature races to pick from around the State this week.
We commence this week at Wentworth Park on Wednesday July 12 with 520m 5th Grade Dogs Only Heats with a $6,000 final and a 520m 5th Grade Bitches Only Heats with $6,000 final.
Also that night at Grafton we have 660m Non-Grade Stayers Cup worth $8,000 to the winner. This meeting is an extra prizemoney meeting for races over 450m & 660m.
At Richmond on Friday July 14 we have 520m 5th Grade 1-3 Win Heats with a $5,000 final.
Up the Richmond Straight on Saturday July 15 we have Maiden Heats with a $1,500 Final.
At Temora on Tuesday July 18 we have 457m Non Grade Southern Stars Heats which leads to a $50,000 final.
And finally at Gosford on Tuesday July 18 we have 515m Non Grade Gosford Goldmine Heats with $12,000 final.
