Injuries Impact NSW Origin Teams

By GRNSW
Just as it has with its rugby league counterpart which lost star halfback Nathan Cleary to injury, the NSW Origin Greyhound Series team has been hit just days out from the event.

Trainer Andy Lord wasn't happy with the way his champion sprinter She's A Pearl pulled up after an impressive win at Wentworth Park on Saturday night, and decided she wouldn't be able to contest the series which will be run at Albion Park next Thursday.

It is a similar case with Lord's stayer Cawbourne Magic who has also been withdrawn from the Origin.

Reserve runner Reflections comes into the starting team for the Origin Sprint, with Aston Barak the new reserve.

In the Distance Origin, Wendy Rocks moves into the starters with Boom Lateral the new reserve.

There has also been an injury enforced change to the NSW Straight of Origin team.

Canya Unleash was injured at Gunnedah on Sunday and will miss the June 18 event. Coming in to take the place of Canya Unleash is Phantom Jasper.
