Greyhound Racing NSW will shortly be releasing the racing calendar for the 2023-24 racing season.
After lengthy consultation with clubs and stakeholders, a draft calendar has been completed and has been sent to all clubs to provide feedback by the close of business on Friday June 9, 2023.
The draft calendar sees three significant changes for 2023-24. These are:
· Wentworth Park Wednesday night race meetings being transferred to a Sunday twilight slot. These meetings will now be categorised as TAB provincial prizemoney levels (ie: $2,000 winner for 520m races).
· The Richmond Wednesday twilight meetings will be transferred into the Wednesday night timeslot with this meeting now carrying the traditional prizemoney levels for racing on Wednesday nights at Wentworth Park for races 440m+ (ie: $4,000 winner for races).
· The third change is moving racing at Temora into the Wednesday twilight timeslot.
The Richmond finish-on meetings will now be proposed for the Monday meetings.
