Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
It’s a huge weekend with the finals of the Ladbrokes 715 at The Gardens, the Grafton Cup, and the Broken Hill Cup all to be run. But there are also plenty of other big races each week on the calendar around the State.
We commence this week with Richmond on Wednesday May 10 and 401m Maiden Heats with a $1,500 Final.
The same night at Wentworth Park we have 520m Maiden Heats with a $6,000 Final and a 520m Wentworth Park Battlers worth $4,000 to the winner.
At Goulburn on Friday May 12 we have 440m 5th Grade Heats with a $5,000 Final. The meeting will also be an extra prizemoney meeting for graded races over 440m.
At Dubbo on Saturday May 13 we have the 516m Non Grade Brother Fox Heats with a $50,000 Final, and 516m 0-2 Win Heats with a $20,000 Final.
At The Gardens on the same night we have 400m 5th Grade 1-3 Win Heats with a $2,000 Final.
On Sunday May at Grafton we have 450m 5th Grade Heats with a $4,000 Final.
At Maitland on Monday May 15 we will have 400m 5th Grade 1-4 Win Heats with a $2,000 Final and also that night at Nowra 520m 5th Grade Nowra to Wentworth Park Heats with a $6,000 Final.
And finally back at Dubbo on Tuesday May 16 we will have 318m Maiden Heats with a $10,000 Final and 400m 4/5th Grade Heats also with a $10,000 Final.
