As a result of the abandonment of the race meeting at Wentworth Park on Saturday April 29, and with the extremely congested feature race calendar, so as to not impact other clubs, GRNSW and the GBOTA have decided that the Group 3 Bob Payne Sprint and Group 3 Ladies Bracelet will not be able to be run.
In lieu of that, GRNSW has scheduled for Wentworth Park on Friday May 5, a Best 8 race for dogs worth $15,000 to the winner, and a Best 8 for bitches which will also carry prizemoney of $15,000 to the winner. Fresh nominations will be called for events.
If nominations dictate, additional non-grade event will be held and carry prizemoney of $10,000 to the winner.
