Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.

At Taree on Wednesday 26th April, there are 314m Maiden Heats on offer with an $8,500 Final. Also on Wednesday at Richmond, there are 320m Maiden Heats leading to a $1,500 Final. Wentworth Park on Wednesday will see a $4,000 to the winner Wentworth Park Battlers over the 520m.
Down to Dapto on Thursday 27th April, there are 297m 5th Grade Heats with a $2,000 Final a week later.
The Gardens on Friday 28th April will be an exciting night of The Ladbrokes 715 Heats over 715m. Heat winners will receive $8,000 - and don't forget, this is the richest staying event in the world, with a cool $500,000 on offer to the winner of the Final. The night will also see 515m Maiden Heats run with the $5,000 Final run a week later on 715 Final night. The next night, Saturday 29th April, The Gardens will have 515m 5th Grade 1-4 Win Heats leading to a $5,000 Final, also run on 715 night.
It will be a big night at Wentworth Park on Saturday 29th April, with heats of the 520m Ladies Bracelet and 520m Bob Payne Sprint to be run, both with $25,000 Finals run on Friday, 5th May.
Up to Grafton on Sunday 30th April, there are 450m Grafton Cup Heats with the $25,000 Final a week later. Broken Hill will also see its Cup heats run on Sunday, with the Broken Hill Cup Heats leading to a $10,000 Final. That night will also see 375m Non Grade Heats ($3,000 Final) and 375m Maiden Heats ($5,500 Final).
Monday 1st May brings in a new month and at Maitland, there are 450m 5th Grade 1-4 Win Heats with a $4,500 Final. At Nowra on Monday, the meeting features 365m 5th Grade Heats ($2,500 Final) and 520m 5th Grade 1-3 Win Heats ($5,000 Final).
Finally at Bulli on Tuesday 2nd May we will see 472m 5th Grade Bulli to Wentworth Park Heats ($6,000 Final). Please note, this is an extra prize money meeting for graded races over 472m, 515m & 590m. Also on Tuesday, at Casino, there are 411m 5th Grade Heats with a $3,000 Final the following week.
