Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
There will be plenty of big Group feature races in the coming months with the prestigious Ladbrokes Golden Easter Egg final this Saturday night, along with a plethora of feature races. But there are also plenty of other big races each week on the calendar around the State.
We commence this week - which is interrupted with one or two public holidays so check nomination times - at Casino on Thursday April 13 with 300m 4/5th Grade Heats with a $3,060 final.
At Goulburn on Friday April 14 we have 440m 5th Grade Heats with a $5,000 final and please note this is an extra prize money meeting for graded races over 440m.
On the same night at The Gardens we have 515m 1-3 Win Heats with a $3,000 final, and also that night at Richmond we have 520m 5th Grade Heats with a $6,000 final.
At Wentworth Park on Saturday April 15 we have 520m 5th Grade Dogs Only Heats with an $8,000 final, and 520m 5th Grade Bitches Only Heats with an $8,000 final.
At Broken Hill on Sunday April 16 we have 375m Non Grade 1-4 Win Heats with a $4,000 final, and also that day at Nowra 520m Nowra Puppy Classic Heats which culminates in a $40,000 final.
At Maitland on Monday April 17 we have 400m 4/5th Grade Heats with a $2,100 final, while at Grafton we have 450m 5th Grade Heats with a $5,000 final.
And finally on Tuesday April 18 at Temora we have 330m 5th Grade 1-3 Win Heats with a $5,000 final and 457m 5th Grade 1-4 Win Heats with a $5,000 final and the same day at Bulli 472m 5th Grade Heats with a $5,000 final.
