Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
There will be plenty of big Group feature races in the coming months with the Ladbrokes Golden Easter Egg semis this weekend, and the rich night of racing on April 8. But there are also plenty of other big races each week on the calendar around the State.
It’s a massive week this week and we commence at Wentworth Park on Wednesday April 5 with a 520m Wentworth Park Battlers worth $4,000 to the winner, and 520m Maiden Heats with a $6,000 final.
Up the Richmond Straight on Saturday April 8 we have 5th Grade Heats with a $2,000 final, before all roads lead to Wentworth Park that night for Ladbrokes Golden Easter Egg Final night.
At Grafton on Sunday April 9 we have 350m 5th Grade 1-2 Win Heats with a $2,000 final.
At Maitland on Monday April 10 we have 450m 5th Grade Maitland to Wentworth Park Heats with a $6,000 final. And please note that this is an extra prize money meeting for graded races over 450m & 565m.
At Bulli on Tuesday April 11 we have 400m 5th Grade Heats with a $3,000 Final.
And a big day on Wednesday April 12 first at Taree with 314m 5th Grade 1-3 Win Heats with a $3,200 Final, and heats of the Non Grade Taree Cup over 537m with a $25,000 final.
Also that day we have Richmond with 401m Maiden Heats with a $1,500 final and at Wentworth Park we have a 520m Wentworth Park Battlers worth $4,000 to the winner.
