Thrilling Easter Egg Warm Up At Wenty

She's A Pearl (pictured) takes on Queensland star Hello Mike in a mouth-watering Ladbrokes Golden Easter Egg dress rehearsal in Saturday night's Wentworth Park top grade 520m event.

She's A Pearl, unbeaten in four appearances from box two, will exit that draw while Hello Mike, who has won 10 of 24 Queensland outings, has box one.

Andy Lord, trainer of She's A Pearl, said: "It doesn't really matter what box she draws but she does look nicely placed on Saturday.''

Travis Elson, trainer of Hello Mike, said: "My dog is ideally boxed and although he has not raced at Wentworth Park he had a post-to-post hand-slip there and well well.

"He went two-tenths of a second quicker than his kennelmate Bear's Bullet, who has box one in Saturday's fifth race, a third and fourth grade.

"Bear's Bullet is well boxed and while her mission is the age restricted New Sensation series at the Easter Egg carnival, Hello Mike is here for the big one.

"I had booked both of them in for 520m trials at Wentworth Park last Saturday but my assistant strapper was rushed to hospital so I had to cancel the trip.''

She's A Pearl is unbeaten from Box 2

She's A Pearl's trainer Andy Lord will unveil a pair of promising newcomers in fifth grades at Wentworth Park on Saturday night, with siblings Born To Sparkle in box three in race one and Mr Yellowstone in box one in race 10.

"They both went nicely in post-to-post slips at Wenty, with Mr Yellowstone clocking 24.20 and Born To Sparkle running 24.40,'' Lord said.

"They are each green and inexperienced but have ability and while Mr Yellowstone went faster in their trials, Born To Sparkle has good early pace and might be able to lead in her race.''

Jack Smith, trainer of Feral Franky and Jungle Deuce, has newcomer Bad Move chasing his fourth win from her past six starts in box eight in Saturday's second event, a 520m fifth grade.

"Bad Move is perfectly boxed and while she has had a couple of trials at Wenty she went reasonably well without doing anything startling,'' Smith said.

"I also have Red Hot Frankie in box eight in the Ladbrokes Road To The Egg Final and while her best form is from inside boxes she has so much early pace she can handle an outside draw.''

Tiny Keen looms as Saturday night's best value bet when she makes his Wentworth Park debut for his new trainer Jason Fletcher in race eight, a 520m fifth grade.

Formerly trained by his owner Allan Syphers, Tiny Keen is a dashing short course speedster who finished third over 527m at Gunnedah at his sole test beyond 450m.

Tiny Keen led throughout to win first up for Fletcher in a flying 20.57 over 365m at Nowra on February 27 before missing the jump and being skittled soon after when sixth over 401m at Richmond on March 5.
