One Turn Track City Prizemoney To Continue

By GRNSW
Greyhound Racing NSW is pleased to announce the continuation of city mid-week prizemoney meetings at its five one-turn racetracks.

In November last year, following GRNSW’s seminar with participants and stakeholders in ORANGE, a four-month trial began with selected meetings at GRNSW’s five one-turn tracks - Maitland, Goulburn, Temora, Grafton and Bulli - offering city mid-week prizemoney for races 440m and beyond, excluding maiden races.

The trial is set to end in March but having monitored the success over the past three months, through nominations, wagering, and safety data, and comparing those figures with race meetings carrying normal provincial prizemoney, GRSNW can announce today that it will now continue with the program for the rest of the financial year.

GRNSW can also announce today that in line with current city distance prizemoney, GRNSW Middle Distance and Distance Series prizemoney has also been lifted to as follows: 5th Grade: $6,200 / $1,800 / $1,300 / $100; 4/5th Grade: $6,700 / $1,950 / $1,400 / $100; and Non Grade: $7,200 / $2,100 / $1,600 / $100.

The city mid-week prizemoney meetings at the five one-turn racetracks was due to conclude at Goulburn on March 17, but will now continue at Grafton (March 26), Temora (March 28), Bulli (April 4), Maitland (April 10), and Goulburn (April 14), then continue with another 12 meetings through until June 27.
