Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
While most of our major feature races have come and gone this year there is always another feature event around the corner.
There are still numerous feature races both big and small around the State over the next week, let’s take a quick look.
We commence at Richmond on Wednesday December 21 with 401m Maiden Heats with a $1,500 Final.
At Casino on Thursday December 22 we have 484m Non Grade (1/2/3/4th Grade) with $4,200 to the winner.
At Dapto the same night we have 297m 5th Grade Heats with a $2,000 Final.
On Friday December 23 at Wagga we have 525m 4/5th Grade Heats with a $3,500 Final.
At Wentworth Park on Saturday December 24, we see 520m 5th Grade Heats with a $10,000 Final.
At Nowra on Monday December 26 we have 5th Grade 365m Heats with a $3,000 Final and the same night at Maitland 450m 4/5th Grade Heats with a $2,600 Final.
At Temora on Tuesday December 27 we have an extra prizemoney meeting for graded races over 457m & 570m.
The same night at Gosford we have the heats of the 515m Non Grade Gosford Gold Cup which will have a $40,000 Final. Also at Gosford we have 388m 5th Grade Heats with a $5,000 Final and 515m Maiden Heats with a $3,000 Final.
And finally at Wentworth Park on Wednesday December 28, we have a 520m Wentworth Park Battlers worth $4,000 to the winner.
