Pair's Powerhouse Performances

Mister Perfect and Zipping Orlando treated Wentworth Park racegoers to powerhouse performances with a pair of come-from-behind wins in fast times on Saturday night.

Mister Perfect was only sixth away in the 1-3 Wins Final but swept around his rivals to hit the front leaving the back straight before careering away to score by 11 lengths in 29.67.

That was his personal best Wentworth Park time and took his record to four wins from five starts, with his winning margins now totalling an astonishing 42 lengths.

After the race trainer Michelle Sultana said: "From behind the boxes it seemed as if he was getting a clear run but when he reached the first turn I just shut my eyes.''

Sultana needn't have worried as Mister Perfect handled himself superbly through the bend and bolted in, running home in a sensational 11.48sec.

"I might take him to Albion Park for the Queensland Derby in January,'' Sultana said later.

Zipping Orlando lifted his Wentworth Park Wentworth Park tally to seven wins from nine starts to take out a fourth and fifth grade 520m event, charging down the outside from fourth on the home corner to win running away by nearly two lengths.

The John Finn-trained "machine" covered the 520m in 29.85, .32sec outside his personal best Wenty figures but still the second quickest time of the night.

An improved getaway helped the Jorja-Louise Howard-trained Can't Handle It break through for his first Wentworth Park win at his sixth attempt.

Can't Handle It trailed pacemaker Cleary Banner to the home bend but came away to win a 520m fifth grade by two lengths in 30sec.

Howard's father Robert said later: "Can't Handle It begins fast at The Gardens and Maitland but just hasn't been able to work out the Wentworth Park boxes.

'He missed the kick in his first five races at Wenty but got away better tonight so hopefully it has finally clicked in with him.''

Goulburn trainer Denice Warren brought Charisma Girl to Wentworth Park on Saturday as a travelling companion to Mowski Bella but while that greyhound missed a place, Charisma Girl ran away win a 520m fifth grade in 30.27.

"Charisma Girl had not been trialled at Wentworth Park but I decided to throw her in because I was going to Sydney anyway with Mowski Bella,'' Warren said later.

"Until tonight Charisma Girl's 17 races have been over between 350m and 440m on big tracks like Bulli and Goulburn.

"Those distances are too short for her and I was confident she would run a strong 520m as long as she got a reasonably clear run from box seven.

"Charisma Girl was hampered getting to the fence but is a very good little chaser and once she got to the lead early she came away to win by four lengths.''

Velocity Dallas surprised handler Robyn Goodwin with her slick 30.09 win in a 520m fifth grade on Saturday night.

After being third to the catching pen, Velocity Dallas, trained by Goodwin's husband Glen, railed to the lead entering the back straight and bolted away to score by nine lengths.

Robyn Goodwin said later: "When she won her maiden at Dapto Velocity Dallas only ran 30.54 so I'd have been happy to see her run 30.30 tonight.

"So to go so quick was indeed a pleasant surprise.

"At her only previous Wentworth Park run Velocity Dallas had box eight and got smashed early, winding up seventh.

"Once she was on the rails from box one going around the first turn tonight I knew they would have to go around her to beat her, because Velocity Dallas just won't leave the fence.''
